Gibraltar, 1971, 1986 and 2022

Well, I know it's not actually an island, but in many ways it is. Physically it is a very big rock attached to the mainland by a small, flat isthmus. Culturally and politically it has been separate from Spain for over 300 years and from time to time when the border has been closed, it is effectively an island. This is the dockyard in 1971 (they don't like you taking photos of the dockyard!).
