Some Drives round the Eastern USA,
2001 in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York
and 2002 in Denver, Ohio, Tennesee, Georgia and Indiana
with stopovers in Iceland and Bermuda on the way.

In September 1999 we flew to New York with a stopover in Iceland. We stayed in Westchester and visited New York city and Tarrytown.
In March 2001 we flew back to the States with a stopover in Bermuda. We drove from Boston up to Cape Neddick Maine, Portsmouth New Hampshire, Cape Cod, stayed at the Biltmore hotel in Providence Rhode Island, visited Mystic Seaport in Connecticut and on to New York.
In March 2002 we were in Boulder Colorado and visited Denver, Central City and Georgetown. On the way back we stopped at Cincinnati Ohio and drove down to Nashville and Chattanooga Tennessee, briefly into Georgia and back up via Cincinnati to Aurora and Rising Sun Indiana.
We also had a couple of visits to Toronto Canada (the yellow routes), one time driving via Niagara Falls and Thousand Islands to Ottowa (in 1990) and the other time going by train to Montreal and Quebec (in 2009). |
